Nike to replace Adidas as UEFA football supplier from 2027
The long-standing partnership between Adidas and UEFA is set to end, marking the conclusion of an era for the Champions League. Starting in the 2027/2028 season, Nike is expected to become the official ball supplier for the Champions League, the Europa League, and the Conference League.
This shift follows a broader trend of major football entities moving away from Adidas. The German Football Association (DFB) has also signed a deal with Nike, which will see the brand provide kits for the German national team starting next year, ending decades of Adidas sponsorship. While Macron currently handles referee apparel, the transition to Nike for UEFA's major club competitions represents a significant commercial shift in European football.
