Nike to supply Germany's national soccer team kit from 2027, ending 73‑year Adidas partnership
Nike will become the official kit supplier for the German national football team starting in 2027, signing a contract worth about €100 million per year. The deal ends a 73‑year partnership with Adidas that began in 1954, when Germany won its first World Cup. The German Football Association announced in 2024 that the existing agreement would not be renewed. Nike announced the upcoming switch with a promotional stunt in New York, displaying the message “Hallo, New Jersey” on the Hudson River. Adidas will regain contracts with European teams Croatia, Poland and Turkey after their previous agreements with Nike concluded. The shift marks a major commercial change in the supply of national team apparel following the 2026 World Cup.
