Nikšić municipality begins co-financing preschool costs

Parents in Nikšić can now apply for co-financing to cover childcare costs at the 'Dragan Kovačević' Public Preschool Institution. Following a unanimous decision by the Nikšić Municipal Assembly, the local government will cover 50 percent of the costs for all children during the current school year.

Starting next year, the municipality plans to fully fund the service, making preschool free for all children. To apply, parents must submit specific documentation, including a signed application form, bank account confirmation, a certified copy of their ID, and a certified copy of the contract with the preschool. Applications are processed through the Nikšić Municipality Civil Bureau.
