Niki Tzavela recalls Marika Mitsotaki's concern for Antonis Samaras

Former MP Niki Tzavela shared a personal anecdote regarding the historical relationship between Antonis Samaras and the Mitsotakis family. Tzavela recalled a visit to the home of Konstantinos Mitsotakis and Marika Mitsotaki following the assassination of Pavlos Bakoyannis by the ‘17 November’ group.

During the visit, Tzavela expressed concern to Konstantinos Mitsotakis regarding the security of Dora Mitsotaki. However, Marika Mitsotaki reportedly intervened, expressing intense concern for Antonis Samaras instead, asking, ‘Leave Dora! Antonis, Kostas, Antonis, see if they are guarding him well!’ Tzavela used the post to criticize Samaras, describing him as amoral despite her past acquaintance with him.
