Niki Volou signs Greek winger Theodosis Machairas

Niki Volou has announced the signing of 26-year-old Greek winger Theodosis Machairas for the 2026-27 season. The move comes shortly before the club's Super League 2 premiere against Athens Kallithea.

Machairas developed through the AEK Athens academy, appearing in both Super League 1 and 2, as well as the Europa League. His previous professional experience includes loan spells at Ionikos, Volos NPS, and the Dutch club Vitesse. Most recently, he played for Iraklis, where he recorded 3 goals and 8 assists in 20 appearances, helping the team secure the Northern Group championship. The player, who has represented Greece at the U18 and U21 national levels, will wear the number 53 shirt.
