Nikita Hand speaks publicly following civil case against Conor McGregor
Nikita Hand, the woman who successfully won a civil lawsuit finding UFC fighter Conor McGregor liable for sexual assault, has spoken publicly for the first time regarding her experience and recovery.
In interviews, Hand detailed the emotional and physical toll of the 2018 incident, noting that she has struggled with anxiety, alcoholism, and a loss of self-confidence. She described the difficulty of coming forward, questioning whether anyone would believe her over a famous public figure. Hand recounted her attempts to resist the assault, stating, “He pinned me down, I tried to fight, I couldn’t overpower someone like him.”
Hand credited her mother with encouraging her to seek justice, noting that walking away would have meant constantly seeing McGregor in the media. She emphasized that she is currently on a long path toward healing and reclaiming her identity.
