Nikita Kucherov becomes Tampa Bay Lightning all-time points leader
Nikita Kucherov has become the Tampa Bay Lightning’s all-time career points leader, surpassing the previous franchise record held by Steven Stamkos. The milestone occurred during a game against the Utah Mammoth on Saturday, October 24, 2026, when Kucherov recorded an assist on a Brayden Point power-play goal.
Kucherov reached 1,138 career points (comprising 405 goals and 733 assists) in his 890th game. This surpassed Stamkos, who finished his tenure with the Lightning with 1,137 points. Both players were instrumental in the franchise’s back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 2020 and 2021.
Kucherov, a two-time Hart Trophy winner and three-time Art Ross Trophy winner, has maintained high offensive production throughout his career. He recorded his first NHL point on November 25, 2013, and has since become one of the league's premier playmakers.
