Nikkei to host 150th anniversary event featuring global business leaders

Nikkei Inc. will host a three-day commemorative event titled ‘Dialogues on the Future’ from November 18 to 20 at Tokyo Node in Toranomon Hills. The event marks the 150th anniversary of the company's founding and aims to explore how to navigate an era of rapid change driven by artificial intelligence.

The program features over 50 prominent leaders from the media, technology, and business sectors. Notable speakers include SoftBank Group’s Masayoshi Son and Fast Retailing’s Tadashi Yanai. Global media executives from organizations such as the Financial Times, The Guardian, Reuters, and AP will participate in discussions regarding the future of news.

Additional sessions will focus on specific technological and cultural themes, including the ‘Future of Storytelling’ regarding generative AI, the ‘Future of Physical AI’ involving robotics, and conferences on digital assets and traditional finance. The event also includes specialized programs for next-generation leaders and exhibitions exploring the intersection of technology and society.
