Nikki Cross purchases Progress Wrestling to lead independent scene

Former WWE wrestler Nikki Cross, now performing as Nikki Storm, has purchased the UK-based independent promotion Progress Wrestling alongside her husband, Big Damo. In an interview on ‘Insight with Chris Van Vliet’, Cross stated that their mission is to establish Progress Wrestling as the premier independent promotion globally by tapping into the talent available in Europe.

Reflecting on her decade-long career in WWE, Cross discussed her previous success as Nikki A. S. H., including winning the Money in the Bank briefcase and the Raw Women’s Championship. She noted that the timing of the Progress Wrestling acquisition was unique to her current status outside of WWE. Cross expressed a desire to provide opportunities for young talent and to maintain an aggressive, intense wrestling style.
