Nikki M. James and Rory O'Malley return to Broadway's The Book of Mormon

Original cast members Nikki M. James and Rory O'Malley have returned to the Eugene O'Neill Theatre to reprise their roles in the Broadway musical The Book of Mormon. The actors, who originated the roles of Nabulungi and Elder McKinley in 2011, are performing in the production for a limited engagement through January 17.

The return coincides with the musical's 15th anniversary on Broadway. Both performers noted the surreal experience of returning to the stage after 12 years, observing that while certain backstage elements remained unchanged, the cultural landscape regarding race, religion, and comedy has shifted significantly since their original run.
