Niko Ilicevic attracts interest from major European football clubs

Eintracht Frankfurt's 15-year-old talent Niko Ilicevic has attracted significant interest from several major European football clubs. As the left-footed playmaker approaches his 16th birthday on October 31, he will become eligible to sign a professional contract.

Top clubs reportedly tracking the Germany U17 international include AC Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Newcastle. Ilicevic has demonstrated strong performance in youth categories, recording 10 goals and six assists in 28 games for Frankfurt’s U19s, alongside two goals in three appearances for the Germany U17 national team.

Eintracht Frankfurt has expressed intentions to integrate the player into the first team and aims to retain him despite the intense competition from international giants. The club previously faced a fine from the DFB for using the player in first-team training matches before he met the age requirements for professional participation.
