Niko Springer advances to face Luke Littler at Czech Darts Open

German darts player Niko Springer has advanced to the second round of the Czech Darts Open in Prague following a dominant 6-0 victory over Martin Homola. Springer displayed high-level performance during the match, recording a three-dart average of over 102.

Springer is scheduled to face world number one and reigning world champion Luke Littler in the second round. This matchup serves as a rematch of their previous encounter at the World Matchplay. For Springer, the tournament is critical as he seeks to secure qualification for the World Grand Prix in Leicester later this month.

Following his win, Springer stated, “I’m looking at the Race to the World Grand Prix right now, so every win is very important.” Regarding the upcoming match against Littler, Springer expressed confidence, noting, “Honestly, I’ve got nothing to lose.”
