Nikola and Marija Marić Celebrate Golden Wedding in Mostar

Nikola and Marija Marić marked their 50th wedding anniversary with a golden wedding ceremony at the Parish of St. Matthew in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The couple renewed their vows before the same priest, Don Pero Marić, who married them on July 30, 1976.

The celebration was attended by their eight children, seven grandchildren and numerous relatives, who presented an emotional letter of gratitude. The Mass was co‑celebrated by Don Rad Zovk and parish priest Don Tomislav.

The event highlights a half‑century of family life, shared joys and challenges, and underscores the enduring role of the local parish in community milestones.
