Nikola Csolov heads into F2 summer break as championship leader

After nine rounds, Bulgarian driver Nikola Csolov leads the Formula 2 drivers' standings with 167 points, a 20‑point advantage over Gabriel Mini. He scored six points at the Hungary weekend after retiring from the sprint race and receiving a five‑place grid penalty for an incident with Sebastien Monto.

Csolov said the upcoming five‑week summer break will allow him to recharge and return stronger. The next race will be the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, scheduled for 4‑6 September. His team, Campos Racing, also tops the team classification with 261 points, 74 ahead of Invicta Racing.
