Denver Nuggets defeat Utah Jazz amid Jokić technical foul

The Denver Nuggets defeated the Utah Jazz 117-106 in an NBA preseason matchup. Nikola Jokić played 16 minutes in the first half, recording six points, four rebounds, and five assists.

The game featured a heated physical exchange between Jokić and Utah Jazz center Jaxson Hayes. After Hayes shoved Jokić during a physical sequence, Jokić responded with heavy contact while reaching for the ball. Officials assessed a technical foul to Jokić following the incident.

Despite the confrontation, Denver secured the win, led by Aaron Gordon's 18 points and 6-of-7 shooting from the free-throw line. The Nuggets' victory serves as a rebound from their previous preseason loss to Utah.
