Nikola Jokić receives praise for dominance and mental toughness

NBA star Nikola Jokić continues to receive praise for his dominance and unique mentality. Former player Olden Polinis suggested that Jokić’s resilience may be rooted in his childhood, noting that the Serbian center survived bombings and rockets in his homeland, which may contribute to his ability to remain unfazed by external pressures.

In a recent preseason matchup, Los Angeles Lakers center Walker Kessler expressed his admiration for Jokić after competing against him. While Kessler initially described Jokić as potentially the best player in the league and the best big man, he later pivoted to name Luka Dončić as his preferred choice for the top spot. Kessler, a longtime fan of Jokić, noted the value of competing against such high-quality talent before the regular season begins.
