Nikola Maraš enters legal dispute with Deportivo Alavés

Nikola Maraš is entering a legal dispute with Spanish club Deportivo Alavés following his dismissal. The club terminated his contract under the assessment that he failed to commit sufficiently to training sessions.

Sergio Fernandez stated that the club believes they fulfilled their contractual obligations and sought to end a process that had lasted too long. Maraš, however, maintains that the termination was unfair, and his legal team is working to secure the compensation he is owed. Maraš joined Alavés in 2023 for 1.5 million euros but made only three appearances, all in the Spanish Cup.
