Nikola Mirotic becomes EuroLeague's third all-time leading scorer
Nikola Mirotic has become the third all-time leading scorer in EuroLeague history. During Valencia Basket’s 105-92 victory over ASVEL Villeurbanne in France, the forward scored 22 points, bringing his career total to 4,458 points in 310 games.
With this performance, Mirotic surpassed the legendary Vassilis Spanoulis, who retired with 4,455 points. Mirotic now sits behind only Mike James and Nando de Colo in the historical rankings. Since joining Valencia, Mirotic has averaged 16 points per game over three EuroLeague appearances.
Reflecting on the milestone, the 36-year-old Montenegrin-Spanish player expressed gratitude for his health and longevity, stating, ‘It is the craft I love, I don’t want to stop.’
