Nikola to Hugo migration planned for blog system

A technical transition is underway to migrate a blog system from Nikola to Hugo. The move is motivated by compatibility issues with Nikola, specifically regarding Markdown conversion failures and outdated Debian packaging.

The new architecture using Hugo will reorganize content into specific directories, including posts, stories, hikes (randos), and galleries. The migration aims to improve how media and technical listings are handled by treating images as page resources and utilizing Hugo's shortcodes and page bundles for better organization.
