Nikola Trenov to hold first solo exhibition in Skopje

Macedonian artist Nikola Trenov will debut his first solo exhibition, titled ‘Primitive Harmony: Essence of Existence’, on October 14, 2026. The event will take place at the Youth Cultural Center in Skopje.

The exhibition explores the human condition, focusing on themes of connection, love, freedom, and the relationship between humanity and nature. Trenov’s visual language incorporates influences from Fauvism, Balkan Naive art, modernism, and Cubism, while maintaining a poetic intimacy reminiscent of Marc Chagall.

Through expressive forms and a bold palette, the collection uses the human figure to convey emotion and personal experience, presenting a visual narrative of the search for harmony and belonging.
