Nikola Vucevic makes preseason debut for Orlando Magic

Nikola Vucevic made his preseason debut for the Orlando Magic on Wednesday against Memphis, recording nine points and three rebounds in 12 minutes off the bench. The veteran center returned to the franchise this summer via free agency, marking his first time in an Orlando uniform since being traded to Chicago over five years ago.

Vucevic, who previously spent eight seasons with the Magic, noted that wearing the team's colors felt “pretty natural.” He is expected to serve as the primary backup to Wendell Carter Jr. this season.

Regarding team health, Magic coach Sean Sweeney provided updates on several players. Anthony Black (sprained ankle) and Noah Penda (hamstring strain) have been full participants in practice for two consecutive days. Jalen Suggs is recovering from an illness, while Jonathan Isaac missed recent activities due to personal reasons.
