Nikola Vucevic signs one-year deal with Orlando Magic

NBA veteran Nikola Vucevic, after a season with the Boston Celtics, entered free agency and was linked to a possible move to Serbian club Crvena Zvezda. Despite those rumors, Vucevic remained in the NBA and secured a one‑year contract worth $3.9 million with the Orlando Magic.

The 33‑year‑old center, who previously spent nine seasons with the Magic and a year with the Philadelphia 76ers, has career averages of 17.6 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game over 591 games with Orlando. His signing adds veteran depth to the Magic’s frontcourt for the upcoming season.
