Nikolla Xhufka discusses religious discipline on ‘She’s On Air’

Father Nikolla Xhufka, a prominent figure in the Orthodox Church, participated in the radio reality show ‘She’s On Air’ to discuss religious discipline and personal challenges.

During the interview, Xhufka addressed topics regarding sexual temptation and virginity. He noted that while thoughts can be considered sin, actions are the primary concern. He explained that the Orthodox Church provides two paths for clergy to manage such desires: marriage or monasticism. He further clarified that if a priest chooses to follow these desires, they must relinquish their clerical status.

Xhufka also discussed the historical importance of virginity in marriage, noting that while the Church previously required proof of virginity before marriage, modern practices have evolved to marry couples without such inquiries.
