Nikolov brothers debut successfully for Lube in Italian SuperLega

Bulgarian volleyball players Aleksandr and Simeon Nikolov have made a successful start to the season with the Italian club Lube Civitanova. In their debut match of the SuperLega against Verona, Lube secured a victory to earn their first three points of the championship.

Aleksandr Nikolov, playing as an opposite hitter, was the top scorer of the match, contributing between 19 and 20 points. He demonstrated high efficiency in attack, recording 18 successful attempts out of 29, alongside two blocks and an ace. Simeon Nikolov, playing as a setter, played a key role in organizing the team's attacks and maintaining a high tempo of play.

The victory positions Lube at the top of the standings in the early stages of the league. This performance follows the brothers' recent success in the friendly Jezzi Cup, where Simeon was named most valuable player and Aleksandr scored 16 points in the final.
