Nikolovo hosts fourth National Casting Sport Championship

The fourth National Casting Sport Championship took place on August 22–23 at the stadium in Nikolovo, Bulgaria. The event brought together 26 competitors from across the country to compete in five primary disciplines: ‘Arenberg’, ‘Skish’, ‘Fly Skish’, ‘Fly Distance’, and ‘7.5g Plastic Distance’.

The competition was organized by the Bulgarian Fishing Sports Federation in partnership with the Nikolovo Casting Sport Club and supported by the Ruse Municipality. Winners across various age groups were recognized by senior experts from the Ruse Municipality’s Youth Activities and Sports Directorate.

Key winners included Nikola Kiryakov from Gabrovo in the boys under 11 category, Martin Ivanov from Nikolovo in the boys under 16 category, and Katerina Kiryakova from Gabrovo in the girls under 16 category. In the men’s category, Rosen Nedkov from Nikolovo secured first place.
