Nikon launches Young Creators photography program

Nikon Germany and fotocommunity have launched ‘Nikon Young Creators’, a five-month development program designed for aspiring photographers aged 18 to 29. The initiative aims to support the next generation of creative image-makers by helping them develop their own visual language and technical skills.

Fifteen participants will be selected from applicants, regardless of prior photographic experience. The chosen individuals will receive Nikon equipment and participate in a curriculum consisting of workshops, online learning units, and five-week photography challenges. The program covers various disciplines, including portrait, street, travel, landscape, and sports photography, guided by experienced mentors and content creators.

The program is scheduled to begin with a two-day event in Düsseldorf on October 16 and 17, 2026, where participants will meet and receive their gear. At the conclusion of the program, the title ‘Nikon Young Creator 2027’ will be awarded, with the first-place prize consisting of camera equipment valued at over 5,000 euros.
