Nikos Dendias visits Naxos via naval frigate

Greek Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias visited the island of Naxos on Wednesday. He arrived via the naval frigate ‘Kimoni’, which had been positioned in the waters off the island since Tuesday evening.

Accompanied by high-ranking military officers, the Minister disembarked at the port of Naxos for a brief visit to the Chora coastal area. While no official agenda was released, reports indicate the visit was for operational purposes, including meetings and discussions held aboard the frigate with senior military leadership.
