Nikos Dosidis Super Cup to launch 2026/27 Thrace football season

The 2026/27 football season in Thrace will officially commence with the ‘Nikos Dosidis’ Super Cup. The match is scheduled for Sunday at 16:00 at the DIAK stadium in Komotini.

The final features Doxa Neou Siderochoriou and Mega Alexandros Iasmos, two teams recognized as traditional powers in Rhodope football. Doxa Neou Siderochoriou holds a theoretical advantage as they compete in a higher division (Gamma Ethniki), though the nature of a single-match final remains unpredictable.
