Nikos Karaiskos resigns as Deputy Mayor of Aigialeia

Nikos Karaiskos has resigned from his position as Deputy Mayor of Aigialeia, specifically overseeing Cleanliness, Environment, Greenery, and Civil Protection. He also stepped down as president of the Corinthian Local Government Development Company.

In a letter addressed to Mayor Panagiotis Andriopoulos, Karaiskos stated that his decision was made after significant reflection and as an act of responsibility. He cited a lack of support and the systematic devaluation of the efforts made by his team under difficult conditions as primary reasons for his departure. Despite resigning from his executive roles, Karaiskos confirmed he will remain an active municipal councilor within the ‘Aigialeia Tora’ faction.
