Nikos Karvelas and Anna Vissi legal dispute over new album

A legal dispute has emerged between composer Nikos Karvelas and singer Anna Vissi regarding her upcoming album. Reports indicate that Karvelas has issued a legal notice allegedly prohibiting Vissi from releasing the recorded album, which contains between 10 and 12 songs.

The dispute specifically involves three songs: ‘Aigaio’, ‘Olo Pio Pano’, and ‘Ochi Giati’, which were released in recent months. The legal notice reportedly also forbids Vissi from performing these three tracks.

Musician Babis Stokas has commented on the conflict, criticizing Vissi’s conduct and suggesting she acted with arrogance toward her long-time collaborator. Stokas noted the significance of their 50-year personal and professional relationship, suggesting the dispute is not merely a professional disagreement.
