Nikos Nikolhetopoulos transfers from Panathinaikos to Marko
Greek central defender Nikos Nikolhetopoulos has signed with Super League 2 side Marko, leaving his boyhood club Panathinaikos. The transfer agreement includes a 20% resale clause in favor of Panathinaikos, ensuring the club benefits financially from any future sale of the player.
Born on 10 June 2005 and standing 1.89 m tall, Nikolhetopoulos spent 12 years in Panathinaikos’ youth system, captaining the U19 side. He later gained senior experience on loan, featuring for Panachaiki in the second half of the 2024‑25 season and making 14 appearances for Panargiakos in 2025‑26 before the move to Marko.
Marko’s statement highlighted the club’s commitment to developing Greek talent and expressed confidence that Nikolhetopoulos will strengthen their defensive line.
