Nilüfer Belediyespor Eker begins 2026-2027 season training

Nilüfer Belediyespor Eker, a women's volleyball team competing in the Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi, has commenced preparations for the 2026-2027 season. The team held its first training session at the Cengiz Göllü Volleyball Hall.

Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir, Deputy Mayor Emre Karagöz, and Club President Muharrem Or attended the session to support the players and technical staff. Mayor Özdemir emphasized the importance of unity between management and athletes, noting that the club's primary goal is to develop young athletes and promote fair play.

Club President Muharrem Or stated that the roster will consist of returning players, youth academy graduates, and new transfers. Head coach Gökhan Durmaz expressed high energy and motivation, aiming to blend experienced players with new talent to create a competitive and engaging team.
