Nilüfer Municipality Concludes Youth Program, Awards Certificates

The Nilüfer Youth Program, a joint initiative of Nilüfer Municipality, the Nilüfer Town Council and the Bir Bulut Olsam Association, has been completed. The three‑project programme aimed to strengthen individual development, community capacity and civic participation among local young people.

A ceremony at the Nilüfer Peace Assembly marked the finale, where participants received certificates. Mayor Şadi Özdemir, deputy mayors, council president Mustafa Berkay Aydın and association president Emre İpekyüz addressed the crowd, highlighting the programme’s focus on youth, women, disadvantaged groups and agriculture. Özdemir reiterated that the municipality’s doors remain open for youth ideas and projects.

The programme identified local needs and implemented initiatives on empowering young women, building youth community groups and fostering youth gatherings. Participants were also invited to a Youth Festival on 4 June at the Görükle Youth Centre.
