Nilópolis promotes Pink October breast cancer awareness activities

The Casa da Mulher Nilopolitana is conducting a series of activities for Pink October to raise awareness regarding breast cancer prevention and early diagnosis. The program includes a walk from the Nossa Senhora Aparecida Church to the Farid Abrão Natural Park, followed by social actions such as blood pressure and glucose monitoring.

Additional scheduled events include workshops on self-esteem and beauty, as well as a documentary screening at the OAB Nilópolis auditorium focused on mastectomy. Nilcéa Cardoso, the municipal superintendent of Women's Rights, emphasized that these initiatives aim to support women's self-esteem and provide essential health services.
