Nils Eekhoff reportedly to join Decathlon CMA CGM Team

Team Picnic PostNL is facing a difficult period, having secured only one victory this season and falling behind other World Tour teams in competitive metrics. The Dutch squad's future appears uncertain as key leader Nils Eekhoff has reportedly agreed to join the Decathlon CMA CGM Team in 2027.

In contrast, the French Decathlon CMA CGM Team is strengthening its roster significantly. Following the confirmed signing of Aubin Sparfel, the team is reportedly attracting high-profile climbers. Potential additions for 2027 include Ben O'Connor, Pavel Sivakov, and Laurens de Plus, alongside Eekhoff. Official announcements regarding these transfers are expected later this autumn.
