Nilton Lins University hosts XXI Scientific Initiation Week in Manaus

The XXI Scientific Initiation Week is currently taking place at Nilton Lins University in Manaus. Under the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating Futures: Digital Initiation by Young Scientists’, the four-day event aims to promote scientific dissemination, encourage knowledge production, and strengthen research and innovation.

The program includes lectures, scientific work presentations, poster displays, and a photography contest. Key topics include new technologies for preventing epidemics and pandemics, bioethics in the world of artificial intelligence, and the relationship between economy, biodiversity, and traditional populations in the Amazon.

The event will also feature the official launch of the book ‘A Epidemia Silenciosa’ by author Ilsa Valois.
