nimbo named Osnabrück Startup of the Year 2026
The startup nimbo has been named ‘Osnabrück Startup of the Year 2026’ following a public vote at the ‘Startup Beats & Business’ event held on August 25, 2026. The award was presented by Osnabrück Mayor Katharina Pötter.
Nimbo specializes in medical technology (MedTech) designed for children living with diabetes. The company utilizes a device paired with a mobile application to display blood sugar levels, aiming to provide a child-friendly approach to managing the condition in daily life.
The competition featured five finalists who presented their business models to an audience of approximately 200 guests from the regional startup and economic sectors.
