Nimisha Sajayan to star in Sajeev Pazhoor’s directorial debut ‘Enna Vilai’

Actor Nimisha Sajayan is set to star in the courtroom drama ‘Enna Vilai’, which marks the directorial debut of writer Sajeev Pazhoor. The film, which features Karunaas in a lead role, is scheduled for release on September 17.

Sajayan revealed that the casting process involved uncertainty, as Pazhoor initially asked her to choose between two well-written characters, Vijayalakshmi and Kanchana, without specifying which one he intended for her. The actress expressed that she was ultimately cast as Kanchana, a lawyer, a role she described as being ‘so special and close to my heart.’

The film is set against the backdrop of Rameswaram and features an ensemble cast including Vijayalakshmi Veeramani, Kamalesh Jagan, and Nizhalgal Ravi.
