Croatian singer Nina Badrić has shared the personal inspiration behind her single, ‘Čuvam njen dom’. The song was written in thirty minutes and is based on a real-life situation involving her friends.

Badrić explained that the lyrics stem from a difficult misunderstanding between a couple. During their separation, the wife allegedly accused Badrić of having an affair with her husband, despite Badrić maintaining that she and the husband are merely close friends. The singer noted that the title reflects her perspective of protecting the woman during the turmoil.

Reflecting on the theme of love triangles, Badrić stated that she has never personally been involved in such a situation, noting that she prefers being a woman who loves only one person. The single is part of her latest album, ‘Moji ljudi’, her first release in 15 years.
