Nina de Pádua returns to Rede Globo in ‘Quem Ama Cuida’

Actress Nina de Pádua is returning to Rede Globo for a special appearance in the telenovela ‘Quem Ama Cuida’. This marks her first work with the broadcaster in 21 years, following her departure in 2008.

De Pádua will portray a judge responsible for the trial of the character Ademir, played by Dan Stulbach, who is accused of sexual harassment. The actress noted a personal connection to the role, stating that she dreamed of being a judge during her childhood. In preparing for the part, she cited former Supreme Court Justice Rosa Weber as a professional reference.

The character is expected to appear in an episode scheduled for September 14. De Pádua’s last appearance in a Globo production was the 2005 telenovela ‘Alma Gêmea’, written by Walcyr Carrasco, who is also one of the authors of the current production.
