Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley to star in Hulu thriller You Deserve To Know

Actors Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley, who played Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore in "The Vampire Diaries," are reuniting nearly a decade after the series ended. They will co‑lead the upcoming Hulu series "You Deserve To Know," a suspense drama based on Aggie Blum Thompson’s 2025 novel of the same name.

The show’s script is written by Brian Tanen, known for "Grand Hotel," and the pair also serve as executive producers. Production is being handled by Kapital Entertainment in partnership with Unwell and 20th Television. No premiere date has been announced yet, but the project is in development for Hulu.

Both actors have recent credits – Dobrev with a short film that screened at Tribeca, and Wesley with roles in "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" and "The Buccaneers."
