Nina Lubomierski elected Chair of Diakonie Württemberg

Dr. Nina Lubomierski has been elected as the Chair of the Board for Diakonie Württemberg. She is scheduled to assume the leadership role on March 1, 2027.

Lubomierski, a 51-year-old pastor currently serving as the Dean of the Evangelical Lutheran Deanery of Landshut, will transition from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria (ELKB) to the Evangelical Church in Württemberg. She succeeds Professor Dr. Annette Noller, who will depart for the Institute of Diaconal Science at Heidelberg University in January 2027.

In her current capacity in Landshut, Lubomierski has been involved in regional church life and serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Diakonisches Werk Landshut. Bishop Christian Kopp noted that while her departure represents a significant loss for the Bavarian church, her experience in pastoral care, theology, and social work will be a valuable asset to the Württemberg region.
