Nine injured in Splash House festival assault in Palm Springs

Nine people sustained minor injuries during an assault at the Splash House electronic music festival in Palm Springs. The incident occurred during an after-hours event at the Palm Springs Air Museum in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to the Palm Springs Police Department, a dispute involving an unknown number of individuals escalated, resulting in bottles being thrown into the crowd. Nine partygoers who were not involved in the initial dispute were injured, some by broken glass. Two individuals were treated at the scene, while seven others were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The festival featured performances by artists including The Chainsmokers, Ship Wrek, Odd Mob, and others. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident and are requesting that anyone with information contact the Palm Springs Police Department.
