Nine Publishing introduces article gifting feature for subscribers

Nine Publishing has launched a new gifting feature that allows digital subscribers to share restricted content with friends and family. Under the new system, Starter Digital subscribers can gift three articles per month, while Premium Digital readers are permitted to share five articles per month.

Recipients of these gifts can access the subscriber-only articles for free for up to seven days or a maximum of three visits, whichever occurs first. Gifting credits reset at the beginning of each month, though unused credits do not carry over.

Luke McIlveen, Executive Editor of The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times, and WAtoday, stated that the function allows subscribers to easily share impactful journalism with their networks.
