Ninetta opens as new Italian trattoria in Hong Kong

Ninetta, a new Italian trattoria, has opened in Central, Hong Kong, offering an alternative to the city’s established fine-dining establishments and traditional red-sauce restaurants.

Led by chef Marco Xodo, formerly of Testina and 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana, the restaurant was co-founded with Antimo Merone and Graziano De Gregorio. The team aims to move away from the formality of fine dining to embrace the authentic, approachable spirit of an Italian kitchen. The establishment features a nostalgic 1980s and 1990s aesthetic intended to reflect the cultural vitality of the era in which the founders grew up.
