Ningbo to host 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue

The 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue, themed “Openness and Connectivity for Shared Opportunities,” is scheduled to take place in the port city of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, from November 2 to 5. The event will host approximately 200 guests, including mayors from Ningbo’s international sister cities, foreign diplomats, and representatives from international organizations.

The program follows a “1+2+3” structure: one main event, two scenario-based dialogues, and three civilization exchange activities. Key discussion topics include technological innovation in urban governance, the connectivity of port cities, sustainable development, and green transitions. During the event, the “Ningbo Consensus on Cooperative Development” will be officially released.

Participants will also engage in site visits to local robotics companies and port areas to observe intelligent manufacturing and urban economic resilience. Cultural activities will include tours of historical districts to experience the region’s maritime silk road heritage and local traditions.
