Ningde yellow croaker industry reaches 20 billion yuan value

The large yellow croaker industry in Ningde, Fujian, is experiencing significant growth through integrated upgrades in aquaculture, processing, and consumption. In 2025, Ningde's yellow croaker production reached 222,000 tons with an output value of 9.718 billion yuan, accounting for approximately 80% of China's total production. The entire industry chain in the region has surpassed a value of 20 billion yuan.
