Ninh Binh authorities seize illegally printed textbooks

Authorities in Ninh Binh province have uncovered an illegal operation involving the unauthorized printing and sale of textbooks. Following an investigation into social media activity, the Economic Security Division of the Ninh Binh Provincial Police identified a Facebook account advertising the printing of grade 1 through 12 textbooks from the ‘Ket noi tri thuc’ series.

The posts were shared within a local community group with approximately 55,300 members, where users were directed to a photocopy business in Gia Vien to purchase printed versions of PDF files belonging to the Vietnam Education Publishing House.

Upon inspecting the M. V photocopy establishment, officials discovered various textbooks printed on A4 paper with color covers bearing the Vietnam Education Publishing House name, though the internal content was printed in black and white. The business owner was unable to provide invoices or documentation proving the legality of the materials. Authorities are currently compiling documentation to process the case according to law.
