Ninh Binh hosts premiere of historical film about Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang
Nearly 3,000 people attended the premiere of the film ‘Ho linh trang si: Bi an mo vua Dinh’ at the Bai Dinh International Convention Center in Ninh Binh. Despite rainy weather, spectators gathered early to see the cast and crew.
The film is inspired by the legend of seven warriors tasked with transporting 99 coffins of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang in seven different directions to mislead enemies and protect the secret of the king's burial site. The production was a decade-long endeavor, involving 83 days of filming and seven months of post-production.
Director Nguyen Phan Quang Binh and a cast including Tu Long, Johnny Tri Nguyen, and Tuan Tran attended the event. The production team chose Ninh Binh for the premiere to express gratitude to the local community and officials for their support during the filming process.
