Ninh Binh restaurant owner gifts 50 million VND to employee after viral altercation

Following a viral incident in late September where a restaurant employee chased a young man with a water pipe, the owner of Cường Dê restaurant in Ninh Binh has provided financial support to the employee involved.

Nguyen Van Hao, the restaurant owner, gifted a savings book worth 50 million VND to the employee, 64-year-old Duong Van Hung, as a gesture of appreciation for his 10 years of service. While the young man involved in the altercation, identified as N.V.T., reportedly visited the employee's home to apologize, the restaurant owner noted that no official apology has been issued to the business itself.

The incident began when the young man used his phone to film the employee while using inappropriate language, leading to a confrontation. Local authorities in Tay Hoa Lu Ward have transferred the case file to the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Investigation Agency for further investigation and handling according to regulations.
